Special Education (SPED)

 

LITTLE SAILORS
Programme 1 - EARLY INTERVENTION (Group Session)
for ages 3 to 6 years old

5 days a week from 9AM to 12 NN.

Includes:

5 days a week and includes:

  • Basic skills

  • Basic Concepts

  • Self-Care

  • Sensory play

  • Music & movement

  • Arts and crafts

  • Physical education

  • Speech Therapy (once a week)

  • Occupational therapy (once a week)

 

 

CAPTAIN'S CREW
PROGRAMME 2 - PRIMARY GROUP SESSION
for ages 7 to 12 years old

5 days a week from 9AM to 12 NN.

Includes:

5 days a week and includes:

  • Literacy

  • Math

  • Science

  • General Studies

  • Life Skills

  • Music & movement

  • Arts and crafts

  • Physical education

  • Cooking

  • Speech Therapy (once a week)

  • Occupational therapy (once a week)

This includes:

PROGRAMME 10 - LITERACY (One on One session)

  • Spelling

  • Comprehension

 

PROGRAMME 11 - MATH (One on One session)

Once a week. This includes

  • Understanding Numbers

  • Calculation

  • Functional Numeracy

 

PROGRAMME 12 - ARTS and CRAFTS
(One on One session)

Once a week. This includes

  • Creative Concept

  • Painting Skills

 

PROGRAMME 13 - SATURDAY MUSIC THERAPY  *Coming Soon*

Once a week. One hour & 30 minutes. This includes

  • Creative Concept

  • Music Skills

 

PROGRAMME 14 - INFANT MASSAGE for Down Syndrome and Low-Birth Weight Babies

Mother and Baby session

Once a week:

  • Practical Skills are taught

  • Moms will be coached Therapeutic Massage techniques for baby's calming and relaxation

 

PROGRAMME 15 - Language and Academic or Pre-Academic

Combination of Speech & Language and Academic/Pre-Academic subjects

 
PROGRAMME 16 - Motor Skills and Academic or Pre-Academic

Combination of Motor & Coordination and Academic/Pre-Academic subjects

- Articulation Disorders

This includes:

PROGRAMME 7 - SPEECH and ORAL MOTOR (One on One Session)

Once a week or depending on the Therapist's recommendation. This includes:

  • Intelligibility

  • Coordination

  • Eating and swallowing

  • Hygiene

  • Articulation

  • Fluency

  • Phonology

 

 

PROGRAMME 8 - USING and UNDERSTANDING LANGUAGE (One on one session)

Once a week or depending on the Therapist's recommendation. This includes:

  • Sequencing

  • Narrative

  • Vocabulary

  • Flexibility in use of language

  • Selective mutism

  • Figurative and social use of language

  • Pragmatic

  • Phonology

Occupational Therapy

FIRST MATE'S CLASS​

- Pervasive Developmental Disorders

- Gross and Fine Motor Delays

- Developmental Delays
- Coordination & Balance Problems
- Attention & Concentration Problems
- Learning Problems

 

PROGRAMME 3 - One on One Consultation

Includes:

  • Observation

  • Consultation

  • OT Assessment

 

 

PROGRAMME 4 - MOTOR AND COORDINATION

Once a week or it depends on the Therapist's recommendation. This includes:

  • Gross motor

  • Fine motor

  • Balance

  • Posture

  • Motor performance

  • Spatial awareness

  • Visual motor

  • Organization

  • Perceptual ability

  • Self-esteem & Self-confidence

  • Body awareness

 

 

PROGRAMME 5 – SENSORY INTEGRATION
(one on one session)

Once a week or depends on the Therapist’s recommendation. This includes:

  • Oversensitivity

  • Under sensitivity

  • Seeking sensation

  • Attention span

  • Concentration

  • Behaviour
